Website over social media for personal blog in 2026

For no reason I am starting this website. I don't know what it will lead to or if it will be shut down again soon, like many of my previous experiments. The difference this time is that I have no commercial expectations from this one, because it will just document my experience of surrender, fun and joy. I will share my experiences and thoughts. 

In this write-up, I will explain why I have chosen a website format in a world of superintelligent LLM-based chats and social media. 

First, I am free to choose a font of my choice, as you can observe. It's not the top reason, but I realized it while I am writing now.

Second, I would rather not have to deal with restrictions on how my content appears. Like on social media, images or video together, and then text in another box, followed by hashtags, location, tagged people, and other requirements without which the post appears trimmed. 

Third, I could see beautiful and amusing executions of AI-based editing these days. I want to play with them and post some random things that may not be aesthetically pleasing but are still meaningful memories for me and family after a decade. An example as below:

A selfie that I took in the car when the kids were sleeping and my wife was driving (AI images are fun, as it extended my tilak and see this divine car interior). 

Fourth, I realized that when I own something like a domain name, I feel more motivated to stay committed to it. You can help with a management theory around it.

Fifth, although social platforms like Instagram allow you to write towards the end, sometimes I want to write long, and I can be restricted to a 400-word limit. I am a free soul. I am an author that writes 12000-word research paper.))

Sixth, I never thought I could write six reasons; however, I find this format allows me to be more creative. Again, a theorist can help us to find a reason because I am still learning to learn more theories. I remembered my supervisor here :)

Seventh, I am not at all distracted while writing this post/blog because I have no urge to see what others are posting; I am more focused.

Eighth,  (May be I will add more in another go).

Last, I am motivated by that eternal force to start and pen down my diaries on a web-based platform.
